Try It Out Tuesdays – Jazz Juice

52nd Street from Jazz JuiceTry It Out Tuesdays offers a free full MP3 of an artist. Today’s artist is Jazz Juice. I don’t represent enough of the style of jazz I enjoy the most on this site – acid jazz. Jazz Juice originally started when producer duo DJ Graham B & Alain Eskinasi set out to create futuristic dancefloor jazz. They got some live guys (like Praful on sax/flute) and released 52nd Street. This track, “Atravessar,” will always be on the ContemporaryJazz.com Radio rotation because it’s got that vibe I like.

According to the Jazz Juice MySpace page, DJ Graham B has “changed the formula of JAZZ JUICE from the loose collective into permanent all-ladies line-up.” That should be interesting.

  1. I love this song!! It’s really uplifting and has a great melody. The latin feel to it is very cool! This is definitely one for my jazz collection. :)
