Today’s My Birthday

One more year until the big 4-0. It’s hard to believe I started this site when I was a fresh 26 years old. A lot has happened in those years, in my life and in jazz.

Since it’s my birthday, here’s a fun and relevant link. It’s the #1 Song This Day In History. Through this site, I found out that top song when I was born was “Bridge Over Troubled Water” by Simon and Garfunkel. Of all of the songs that hit #1 in the years I’ve been alive, I think my favorite is “Rock Me Amadeus” by Falco. Really.
