Diana Krall Live at the Montreal Jazz Festival DVDStevie Wonder was on the wire this week with news that his long-delayed recording A Time 2 Love will be out in April 2005. Among his immediate goals is “a jazz album with harmonica.” . . . Dianne Reeves was on PBS’s Tavis Smiley program on Thursday. Read the transcript here. . . Two new great DVDs were released in the last month. Diana Krall’s latest, Live at the Montreal Jazz Festival is a new recording of material primarily from her latest CD, The Girl in the Other Room. Branford Marsalis and his quartet are recorded performing Coltrane’s A Love Supreme on his DVD of the same title . . . . Lucille Rollins, wife and manager of saxman legend Sonny Rollins, passed away last week at the age of 76. My condolences to Sonny and the rest of the family.
