About ContemporaryJazz.com
ContemporaryJazz.com was founded in January 1996 (originally called cJazz: The Contemporary Jazz Site) by John Hilderbrand. The site is dedicated to exposing modern jazz styles, from acid jazz and nu jazz to fusion and smooth jazz. It is currently being maintained by John.

ContemporaryJazz.com Radio (formerly tomorrowJazz Radio) is a consistently growing Internet radio station hosted on Live365.com, an officially licensed ASCAP, BMI and SESAC site. It is the most-listened station in the acid jazz category and is ranked in the top 15 of nearly 350 stations that name jazz as their primary genre. The station focuses on jazz styles like jazztronica, nu jazz, acid jazz, technojazz, trip hop, jazz remixes, and chill.

If submitting music, please indicate if you do not wish a selection from your recording to be offered as a MP3 (“Not OK To Share”). The site will be offering MP3s in an attempt to expose contemporary jazz in the manner it deserves – to be heard. After writing reviews for over 12 years, I can’t find any new words to write. I would much rather offer the music so people can hear for themselves.

I can receive full MP3 files through my GMail account – please contact me for that address.

The VIP feed has several advantages: no ads; you can listen even if the free feed cap is reached; there are more ways to listen (TiVo, mobile); it supports the station (a portion of the subscription fee goes back to the broadcaster). VIP feeds are just a little over $5 a month. Check out more benefits!
